Why did my key stop working in my lock?
As locks age over time, the pins in a lock cylinder tend to wear down causing your keys to stick and forcing you to jiggle or wiggle the key in the lock to make it work. Most likely the keys you were given have probably been copied several times or the key has been worn down which can cause your lock to act like it is breaking.
In these cases, if the lock itself is not broken, then solution would be to have a professional locksmith make a new copy of the key from the original key or re-key the lock.
When should I re-key my locks?
You just moved into your new home, apartment, business, office, or warehouse. Do you actually know who has copies of your original keys? We are pretty sure your answer to this question is no, so let us tell you who just might have your copies:
➝ Previous tenants, or owners
➝ Friends of those previous tenants, or owners
➝ Cleaning personnel / maids
➝ Pest Control agencies
➝ Pet sitters & nannies
➝ In new structures, the builders and their workers
➝ And many others…
To keep your property more safe it is best to pay the nominal amount of money it costs to simply rekey your locks. This is done easily and quickly and does NOT require you to change all of your locks.
All Safe’s rekeying process is very simple. Our technicians change the pin configuration within your lock which ensures that your lock will no longer work with your old key.

What are the common mistakes when buying a safe?
A good safe is not cheap. If you find one that is, more then likely it isn’t really a burglary rated safe, fire rated safe, or both. Make sure you do your homework ahead of time and know exactly what you will be using this safe for and that the one you choose can perform this job.
Some of these common mistakes include:
➝ Buying a safe that does not perform the job you need done.
➝ Buying a cheap fireproof safe to protect valuables. They are easy to break into.
➝ Buying a safe that is too small, then later running out of space.
All Safe security specialists can help you choose the perfect type, dimensions and accessories for the safe your need. If we do not have exactly what you need we can work with you to build a custom safe to meet your requirements.

How do I choose the right safe?
One of the most important things you need to know when buying a safe is what are you trying to protect, and what are you trying to protect it from. Selecting the right depends on several factors:
➝ Do you want fire protection, burglary protection, or both?
➝ What exactly do you plan to keep in your safe?
– money, guns, collections, heirlooms, documents, prescription drugs, etc…
Many times people use the wrong type of safe for the risks they are trying to protect against. Most people do not realize the risk involved when putting cash and valuables into a fire or record safe, or by putting their records into a burglary safe, and by putting their computer data into their regular record, fire or burglary safe.
Understanding the different types of safes are used for:
➝ A fire/record safe is fire rated
-these safes are designed to keep the internal temperature below 350 degrees Fahrenheit, paper chars at about 400º, for a minimum period of time usually expressed in minutes or hours.
➝ A media safe also has a fire rating
-these safes are designed to keep the internal temperature below either 125 or 72 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the media to be protected. Media safes do not use a wet fill and do not employ moisture to do their job. You can keep paper records in a media safe, however media safes are much more expensive than the typical fire safe.
➝ A burglary safe is burglary rated
-these safes are designed to protect money and other types of valuables from theft
All Safe security specialists can help you choose the perfect type, dimensions and accessories for the safe your need. If we do not have exactly what you need we can work with you to build a custom safe to meet your requirements.
